The Fam Treks to Utah

My family recently came out to Utah for my dad's family reunion. I have family all around me out here! My mom's brother is in Sandy; Dad's brothers in Highland and Lehi; Dad's parents in Cedar Hills. :) Oh, the happiness of family! I love it! ( I am trying to convince Becca to set up her own blog so she can put up all the pictures she took of everyone... I just chose my favorites to post here.)

Abby with her favorite little man...er, um little statue of the armor of a man. That's it! Her knight in shining armor!

Hilarious? Yes. Abby with a gun and a snarl on her face..."Art's got a gun!" Love it.

Bec and I...we love playing together, we do. She is absolutely amazing!

The little woman and her big sister :)

Babester and The Adventure of the Popsicle

This progression is hilarious:

The Babester

I have two little sisters - Rebecca (a.k.a. Robby K, Rob), who is 16, and Abigail (a.k.a. The Babester, Babs, Babe, Abbers, etc.), who is almost 3. No, that is not a typo. Look at these photos Rob took of Abby! Don't we all start out so cute?! Then, something happens and we grow up...

Oh, What Fun is OIT? I ask you.

Kelson: (makes some insulting remark)
Sara: Says the little man in the corner.
Kelson: Says what? I'll cut you.

Esther: You gutless wonder!

Badger: Hey, I'm married now. I'm a married man now.

Joni: Sounds like a user error!
(then she can't login either...)
Rachel: Joni, what was that about a user error?

Trapped In Diagon Alley

THIRDLY, I am reading Harry Potter. I actively resisted the books for the 10 years the series has been out, trying to convince my friends of the error of their ways. Everyone was obsessed with these books and the movies and I could not understand the value of such childish novells. Ask my friends, I fought valiantly to keep myself free from J.K. Rowling's magical binds. H O W E V E R as you can now plainly see, I am hooked. Or maybe hoodwinked into being hooked. At any rate, I am currently re-reading the sixth book (Half-Blood Prince) because I rushed through it just trying to get to the 7th book. But SO MUCH happened in it that I am reading it again before proceeding just to make sure I get it, because sometimes I DON'T GET IT. In my face.

8/1/07 - I am finally on book 7 and I cannot believe any of it. Action from page one to the end, I tell you! I will probably read this one again, too. Although, I will be buying the 4th and final book of the Twilight series tonight...

Excuse for Victoria's Secret :)

SECONDLY, one of my best friends is getting married in about 3 weeks! Yay Juliana and Bryan! So, Alix and Ani - are amazing - planned a bridal shower (okay, I helped a little) for the beautiful bride-to-be. Thank heaven for friends :0) From left to right: Alix, Juliana, Ani, myself.

We get to be Juliana's bridesmaids on August 15, 2008 in the Timpanogos Temple.
